It's ear warming time.

Just recently coming across patterns that were irresistible, I was able to finally set aside some time to get started on some new projects!  This hat, is so pretty, the yarn is perfect for the fair isle pattern.  I don't know who is going to wear this, but I love knitting it!
I also received a picture of a headband/earwarmer that Laura jean liked, the fact that my daughters ask me to make something for them is a thrill for me so I started right away.  How cute is this?  I know she is going to look spectacular in this.  I made two,  another one in black so maybe Lindsay would like it.
I just noticed in the back of this picture you can see the new knives my amazing kids gave me for Christmas this year. They are Henkels; they are so sharp, I am very, very careful handling them but they are so great, what a difference to cook and prepare food with good knives!  Thank you guys!!

Meanwhile, my bigger project is a super soft alpaca sweater vest.   Since a lot of the kitting is straight stockinette I can knit without thinking too much.  It is so soothing and lets me think and reflect on how much I love my peace and knitting time since I don't get enough of it.  Mmmm I am happy right now.
