NANA AGAIN!!

New babies, new projects! 

 

 I had two new grandchildren in 6 months! 

 This brings me great joy!

And, of course, a good reason to make some new clothes,
 and hats and mittens, and blankets!

 I make these little bean bag sets 

for my grandchildren, 

with some of my left over yarn.

This is my little sweetie in the hat I made for her!

I had the great experience of reconnecting with an old friend from college we met up and reminisced in our old college haunts, we decided to travel to Paris to celebrate our special birthdays this year.  I sent her these fingerless mitts to celebrate our reunion

This is my gorgeous sister, she is sporting my favorite sweater that I made for myself with yarn that i bought from Good Karma Farms at the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck NY.  Once made and blocked it was just not roomy enough for me, and when she came from Florida to visit I let her "borrow" it.  She looked so great in it I had to let her take it.  She looks fabulous in it and I am so happy that she gets good use of it!

....And again, my sister wearing the scarf she asked me to make for her to. keep her neck warm when the weather gets chilly in Florida (?) This color matches her new hat and was made to order!

Of course, I am always knitting socks.  Always have a pair on my needles.  I knit two at a time on two circulars.  These were made with stretchy sock yarn by Knit Picks. Very comfortable sock yarn. Nice to knit with.  I have been going down a needle size lately, now i am knitting socks on Size 1.
